Floyds Knobs Real Estate

Floyds Knobs, while small, is desirable for its attractive homes, fantastic school system and proximity to Louisville Metro. Floyds Knobs gets its unique name from the “knobs”, or steep hills, that are the dominant geographic features in the area. As of 2014, the population was 11,060 and median home price was approximately $224,000. People who work in Louisville often purchase homes in this area because of lower cost of living and a relatively short commute time (25-35 minutes). Fun fact: PGA golfer Fuzzy Zoeller is from Floyds Knobs and has helped design two golf courses in the area – Covered Bridge (Sellersburg) and Champions Pointe (Henryville).
