Can you feel it? There’s a 3-Day Weekend coming our way! There are so many events going on in our area this weekend there’s no way you could get bored (or go to them all)! I’m going to concentrate on Southern Indiana events exclusively, although there is a TON to do in Louisville as well.
Friday, July 1
Jeffersonville
In the mood for something a little more traditional? The Don Krekel Orchestra will be playing as part of the “Concert in the Park” series. Concert is from 7-9pm at Warder Park on E. Court Avenue.
FREE CONCERTS? Pick me! Listen to The Monarchs (with guest Turning Point) live from 7-10pm at Jeffersonville Riverstage.
Clarksville
Take the kiddos to a free movie (or just embrace your inner child)! “Minions” will be screening at Clarksville’s Gateway Park beginning at 8:30pm.
Saturday, July 2
Jeffersonville
Did you miss the screening of “Minions” on Friday night? No worries! Jeffersonville’s Riverstage Twilight Cinema begins showing the animated feature at 9pm. Come early for games, inflatables and more beginning at 7:30pm.
Corydon
How about a little competition before you watch the fireworks on Saturday night? From 10-5pm, pick up a game card at participating merchants and get your card stamped to enter some awesome drawings. Stores will be running specials as well, so make sure you are prepared to shop! For more information, click here.
Sunday, July 3

Before you go to all of the parties on Sunday evening, celebrate with patriotic music at the second annual Patriotic Concert. This is a FREE event and is held at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Clarksville from 3-5pm.
New Albany
Fireworks, food and music make for a winning combination at the Riverfront Independence Day Celebration at Riverfront Amphitheater. Event begins at 6pm and ends after the fireworks! Live music, inflatables, local food vendors, a beer garden, fireworks and MORE! Don’t miss out!
Monday, July 4
Jeffersonville
Can’t celebrate a holiday without a parade! Jeffersonville’s 4th of July Parade and Celebration is being held from 11am-5pm. The parade route goes through Spring Street!
